Info on other areas is not readily available to us, but there are also groups of American retirees concentrated in San Antonio (location of the old Communications Station at San Miguel, about 45 minutes north of Subic), San Fernando La Union (coast of Lingayen Gulf), Angeles City (near the old Clark AFB), Baguio, Manila/Cavite, Cebu, Leyte and Mindanao. Here in the Olongapo area, people rent, buy or build houses anywhere from Olongapo City to Subic City, with the biggest concentration in Barrio Barretto & Santa Monica Subdivision in Subic, just outside Barretto. Beware - Santa Monica flooded badly two times in 1997.
There are no realtors with lists of homes to rent or buy. You will just have drive around and look for a place. |
