FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICER 2006 WRITTEN EXAMINATION

Have you ever thought about entering the United States Foreign Service? The Foreign Service Written Exam (FSWE) is the first step in becoming a Foreign Service Officer. It is offered once a year in cities around the world, including in Manila .

As of this year, 2006, all registrations for the Foreign Service Officer Written Examination must be done online. This is the only form Required to apply for the 2006 exam. There is no longer a printed version of the application. The link to the online registration is now open at http://careers.state.gov/officer/join/examinfo.html. The exam is for entry-level Foreign Service Officer positions in the U.S. Department of State.

Test Date: April 8, 2006  

Registration Deadlines:
March 1, 2006 for foreign test centers
March 8, 2006 for U.S. test centers
