CLOSURE OF U.S. EMBASSY

The United States Embassy in Manila will be closed on Thursday, September 28 due to Typhoon Milenyo.  I nformation on the progress of Typhoon Milenyo may be found at the Typhoon 2000 website at http ://www.typhoon2000.ph. General information about natural disaster preparedness is available via the Internet from the Philippines National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) at http://ndcc.gov.ph/ndcc/ and from the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at http://www.fema.gov .
